The Seagull by Anton Chekhov
Art by Erik Long
Gaea & Co’s inaugural production, The Seagull, is an experimental take on the timeless classic. Enter the gardens of Sorin’s estate, just outside of Moscow in 1895, through the portal of a beautiful house on Cape Cod. Experience the magic of the Elements as you are lulled into the world of our beloved characters. Each act takes place in a different part of the estate, reflected through immersive staging. Join us on a journey exploring the role of the artist, the true fulfillment of the soul, and the dangers of silencing the feminine that lives within us all.
Directed by Lily Filippatos, Daniel Kadish, and Barron Leung
